Beautiful Gardens of Wānaka is a local guided garden tour operator.
Small groups (max 7) visit 2 to 4 outstanding private gardens in the Wānaka area, every day from the 15th October 2023 to the end of April 2024.
Tours include transport, narrative and morning/afternoon tea. Our guide shares knowledge of plants and the gardeners' stories while initiating multi-sensorial experiences.
On Monday and Saturday afternoon and on Friday morning every week, tours visit three very different gardens, outstanding in their design and plants, sure to delight and inspire.
Monday and Saturday afternoon:
- A colourful exemplary half-acre garden
- An intensive urban acre garden full of art and surprises
- A large, landscaped park and gardens, with orchards, potager, ponds, plants, trees and birdlife
Friday morning:
- An exquisite country garden in a rural valley
- A rural lush cottage garden
- A flower growing facility where we’ll admire flowers and learn how professional do it
