Namaste Park & Gardens and Regenerative Lifestyle Guided Tour

Beautiful Gardens of Wānaka is a local guided garden tour operator. 

Small groups (max 7) visit 1 to 4 outstanding private gardens in the Wānaka area, every day from the 15th October 2023 to the end of April 2024.  All our tours are climate neutral*

Tours include transport, narrative and refreshments. 

On Monday, Wednesday and Saturday MORNINGS, visit Namaste Park and Gardens, learn how to regenerate the land and live a sustainable lifestyle. 

We first visit Namaste arboretum featuring 400+ different ornamental trees, silver birches, dogwoods and maples, crabapples, conifers and many other interesting trees as well as a grove of rhododendrons. Planted on a bare compacted land in the last 20 years, we learn how one person can regenerate the soil and biodiversity, creating a forest and facilitating nature regeneration and carbon absorption. 

We then visit ornamental and food producing gardens: we will see a wide variety of shrubs and flowers, both native and exotic, orchards, potager, pond, with lots of wildlife. We earn how this is done without fossil fuels (incl. chemicals). 

We learn how the caretakers of the land manage resources wisely, soil, water, energy, time, grass and organic matters for a sustainable relaxed living. 

We stroll through mature tree canopy and experience awe and connection with nature. 

We stop and have morning tea and muffins, the occasion to chat and expend on your interests and questions. 

If you like, we can go deeper and connect with your chosen tree energy, following step-by-step instructions. 

Or we can choose to do a hands-on activity eg. planting a tree and or caring for a garden.
